On Friday, December the 11th 1998 Gaziantep Store opened its doors to Gaziantep and Southeast of Turkey by the President of Turkish Repablic, Mr Suleyman Demirel.
Immediately after the opening, an open air concert was held to celebrate Begendik Gaziantep Store. The famous Baris Manco and Kurtalan Ekspress gave a wonderful concert for the people in Gaziantep at the 100. Yıl Park.
The opening of Begendik Gaziantep Store continued with a sky Firecracker show and gave a cocktail at Tugcan Hotel.
Begendik Gaziantep is 22.000 m² and has 40,000 different kinds of goods. This is the biggest and the most modern Department Store in Turkey.
There is service 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Begendik Gaziantep. It has 26 departments to increase 'Shopping Pleasure'.
Gaziantep Begendik Store has 180 m² cafeteria and 1200 m² restaurant. Apart from 'Shopping Pleasure' there is also 'Meal Pleasure' at this store.
There is more than 700 trained personnel ready to serve the customers. At Begendik Gaziantep Store there are 70 electronic tills and a parking lot with a capacity of 250 vehicles.
