BENEFICIAL INFORMATION


    HOW TO PROTECT CLOTHING?

    • Read the washing instructions on the clothing and follow them.
    • Be careful with your jewellery while wearing and taking off machine - knit fabric.
    • Protect clothing which you do not plan to wear for a while from dew.
    • Follow the instructions about ironing and drying.
    • Dry clean clothing like jackets, coats, raincoats, suits and women clothes.

    1. Polycotton Clothes:

    • Don't rub while washing.
    • Close the zip and snap fastener before washing.
    • Don't use a drying maching, set aside to dry.
    • Turn inside out printed and embroided clothes before washing and ironing
    • Don't use washing liquid with coloured clothes.

    2.Wollen Clothes:

    • Use detergent for wollen clothes.
    • Wash with cold water.
    • Don't use chlorine.
    • Don't wash in automatic washing machine.
    • Don't dry in a drying machine, in the sun or near the heater.
    • Iron at 150 0C with a steam iron or iron with a dew cloth on the woollen clothing.
    • After washing don't squeeze.
    • Clothing which are % 100 wool will shrink so prefer dry cleaning.
    • Protect the woollen clothing from moths and other bugs.

    3. Silk Clothes:

    • Use detergent for sensitive clothes and don't rub.
    • Rinse with cold water.
    • Don't use chlorine.
    • Iron from the inside at 120 0C to 150 0C. Don't press on sewed parts. Don't forget that water and steam may give a stain.
    • Prefer dry cleaning.
    • Don't use a drying machine or dry in the sun.

    4. Polyester Clothes:

    • You may use a washing machine.
    • Don't use a very hot iron.

    5. Swim Suit:

    • Wash in cold water.
    • If necessary use white soap.
    • Don't use a washing machine.
    • Don't squeeze and iron.
    • Don't dry under the sun.

    6. How to protect leather wear?

    • Don't dry clean or wash oily leather. Use leather brush and eraser to clean. You may dry clean other leathers.
    • Use eraser and brush gently in order not to give harm.
    • When wet by rain shake and let to dry.
    • Don't use liquids like thinner and gas to get rid of stains.
    • When you are not using the coat or jacket cover them with something. Air them once a month.
    • Wipe saten bags with a soft wrag.
    • Wipe white and beige bags with a cloth damped in a warm bubbled soak.

    What you need to do while buying and to protect shoes?

    • When buying shoes, try both left and right shoe.
    • The perspirant evaporates in 24 hours, so wear your shoes every other day. Put a mould inside the shoe while it waits.
    • Do not dry your shoes next to a heater or under the sun. Set it aside and dry in normal room heat.
    • When your shoes are wet clean the mud with a wet cloth.
    • Clean suede shoes with a suede eraser and a suede brush.
    • Polish leather shoes with their natural colour or with leather polish.
    • Clean oily leather(nubuk) shoes with oily leather eraser and brush.
    • Shoes which don't have a lining are comfortable and soft. Although these shoes feel good, they may have negative effects like stain your feet or socks with the shoe colour. So, you may prefer to wear the same colour socks of the shoes.
    • For your shoes not to smell, make sure you air them and put a mould in them before you put them away.
    • "Don't wear embroided shoes in rainy weather.
    • Don't forget that all shoes take in water except the ones which have 'water resisted' signs.
    • Get instructional information for shoes made of any special material.
    • Don't wear stout leather shoes on rainy and snowy weather. Wear shoes which have rubber soles on these kinds of weather.

    Clothing Care Signs

    Nuts:

    • In order for nuts not to get dew don't take them out of their packages and consume them within 3 days.

    Coffee

    • Put the coffee in a jar which has a tight lid and do not put it in the refridgerator.

    Bread Kinds

    • If you prefer to eat fresh bread, cut as much bread as you can eat and put the rest in a plastic bag in the refridgerator.
    Dessert

    • Keep your dessert in a normal room heat and consume it within 2 days.

    Clues to Raise Home Plants:

    It is only possible to raise flowers and plants in our homes, if we give them a similiar environment as the one they used to live in. Water and nourishment are their basic needs. These plants cannot always get their basic needs in their flowerpots. So, be careful with the following clues:

    • Choose the best place in your homes to put the plant in accordding to its need for light and warmth.
    • Don't put the plant in a breeze.
    • Occasionally turn the plant around for all parts to recieve sun lıght.
    • Prefer watering the plant with water without calcareous and which is at normal room heat.
    • Don't forget it is as dangerous to water the plant too much as it is not to give it necessary water. So, water the plant according to its necessity.
    • Change the plants flowerpot every year or maximum every 18 months with a bigger flowerpot.
    • Water the plants at night.
    • Be careful not to water the leaves of plants which are sensitive like the African violet which has hairy leaves.
    • If a plant is happy where it is, don't move it. Don't forget plants quickly get bad in very hot,cold, dry and humid environments.
    • Don't forget that plants like azalea, cyclamen drop their flowers in a more than 20 0C environment.

    How to protect the meat you have bought:

    • Take the meat you have bought home as soon as possible.
    • Take the meat out of its package, put it in a plastic bag and store away in the refridgertator.
    • Store the meat in 0 -4 0C in the refridgerator.
    • Consume the meat in 3 -5 days and consume the minced meat in 1 -2 days.
    • Put the meat which you won't be using in packages of 500 grams in a plastic bag and store away in the freezer. You may freeze meat for quite a while.
    • When you will use the meat take it out of the freezer and put it in the refrigerator for it to dissolve.
    • Don't forget it is inadvisable to refreeze the meat which has been dissolved.
